I saw Hooky's comments about a possible release of this session, so I e-mailed Strange Fruit to ask. Here is the reply I got from them:
We released New Order's Peel Sessions from 1981 and 1982, but they didn't want the later one added. I believe it was a joint session with Primal Scream. We have no plans to release that.

I would like to see a release, but until I have the finished product in my hands I won't believe a word about Strange Fruit doing so.
It's only 5 songs though, they'd surely have to beef it up with something else? Who knows, maybe with a live album?
Felt it was a missed opportunity not to include it with the 81 sessions as like the 316 DVD, it would have given a nice wee 'then and now' contrast.
I think they will add more. Like Transmission and/or the get ready sessions they did.
But I really don't think they will release it soon. It will be after Here to stay is done, and Get Ready is done. It will come when they just start making their next Cd. So they can have some income while their making it.
