i've seen hooky spin 2 times here in chicago (smart bar). both sets, he starts off with a song that repeatedly says 'love will keep us together...'
anyone have a clue as to what the name of this track is, and what the specific remix he plays, if any?
It's a Malcolm McLaren mash-up of Captain & Tenile's "Love Will Keep Us Together" (believe this was a no.1 hit here in the 70's?) vs "LWTUA". The MP3 I've got of it is actually introduced by McLaren.

captain and tenille were one of the biggest acts of the mid-'70s in the states. they even had their own variety show for a while--i've got this single on CD (memories of being a toddler!).
