I'm going to have to go with the classic "Woo", my favorite being the one in Truth on 316, though the shrill shrieks before the chorus in live performances of BLT around 1987 are a close second. The "Woah!"s are the weakest of the 21st century Barney-isms, the strongest possibly being a tie between the "Unngh!" of Atmosphere and the eardrum-piercing whistle of Crystal.

I voted for the "shriek". I think it would be cute for him to shriek...(I know, what a stupid reason, huh?)

what about the heavy breathing of an out-of-shape old fooker at the end of recent BLTs'?

"Has anyone got a spare set of lungs?"

Barney unleashes a classic "oongh" on BLT at Glasto '87. He was in top form that night! :thumb:

live- I like the howling in In a Lonely Place studio- the grunts in lonesome tonight, but really too many to choose from.

I love it when he goes "wooo", but my favorite are the "Unnnngh/ummmph" expressions. A perfect example can be found in the Cleveland 89 Vanishing Point (since it's widely circulated on this site) and right as BLT gets going on Glasto 87. Classic!:D

Love the Temptation extra in Reading 98 and to add to that, "they're all taking drugs with me" TF, Reading 98.

I put my vote in for the woo, because it always makes me giggle.

I think the "hey" is under-rated

I had to go with Woo. It's just too New Order.
