I bet they plan to, but something'll go wrong somewhere along the way and we'll doubtless get one track culled from the encore at either gig due to time restrictions.

I'll go with Probably. Only because they have the potential to miss a song out!

I reckon 'yes' and I have a gut feeling they are showcasing 2 songs from the possible new album for next year...

You're probably right Al. That'll be the plan, but something will go a bit wrong on the night. Optimistic that it won't be the same basic set as the festivals though, and that it will be a bit longer than 70 mins!

The question is, will the set be different from the summer tour at all...

If so, which song will be replaced by Shadowplay and Warsaw?

Will you get Jetstream? :evil4:

What else did they rehearse...? maybe a new song? who knows!

Voted probably. I think we may get Who's Joe and Turn and for the encore I would think Warsaw. EGG may get an airing too hopefully.

I think it will probably be quite different, yes. I very much doubt that Shadowplay and Warsaw were one offs, and would hope that they have no need to promote Shitstream now.

2 sets will be the same. After the first gig they will work their fingers to the bone to rewind their set back to the start :(

If they don't play an entirely different set each night I will personally eat my own shit. And anyone elses. Mark my words - these two gigs will be a radical departure form everything we've seen since the '98 comeback.

(Disclaimer: I reserve the right to be wrong, and don't really want to eat any poo, least of all my own. Thanks]

I've got a feeling Clayhead may be on to something. I wouldn't say radically different, but I think New Order realized that it was actually boring playing the same set. Bernard looked like he was having a great time at 'Peel Day'. They ought to bring back 'Disorder'!

There will be differences...

The equipment will break down at a different point, for a start.

I'm hoping for a few one-offs, like when they did IALP and Run in the '98 tour

I would be upset if we get all the same songs again, time for a change lads!

Ceremony, EGG, Warsaw and Turn would make me happy though.

Can't see the sets being that much different unfortunetly, probably just one or two songs.

Whole of the summer there setlist didnt change much and cant seem them preparing loads of new songs just for 2 gigs.

They have only played 23 different songs live all year.

Booked the manc gig and the train tickets up there and then they go and bloody announce a gig half hour away from me! Oh well have to go twice sure i will live.:)

It depends whether Barney's auto cue can cope with a change within 24 hours

Ask nicely and he may whip it out for you next month. Showing off to everyone at the Audley he was! You can't really appreciate the size of it from that avatar though.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

THey won't play Who's Joe (wish they would). Isn't a single or anything, and they're too infatuated with WFTSC to dedicate a spot to a non-single.

Probably Turn and Krafty. Crystal with mimed synths of course, True Faith (duh). All the predicatable ones...

I think I have just completely ruined this thread. Sorry. (I'll go now...)

According to Channel 4's teletext (Page 351) The London gig is being used to promote the singles album......

Now, having follwed them since 89, I should know better than to even think they are gonna play just the singles (or a good few of them).......but I can hope......can't I?

;)

I was going to go on...but why bother, we all know you're getting the Hyde Park tape.

A few eBay sellers have picked up on that Teletext announcement and are pushing it as a "Greatest Hits" show.

There are also a couple saying that "there is a strong rumour that the band will play new songs from their latest unfinished LP" or some such tosh.
