Is there a CD release of Mesh available? I have Substance on CD, tape and video, but I cannot find a digital version of this track, one of my favourites. The track only appears on the cassette 2 of Substance. Just to clarify, this track starts with a bass guitar, and although I can't hear the lyrics very clearly, the track starts out with something along the lines of 'no desire the empty scene... hopes and fears are ... never seen... we made a contract...'. This track urgently needs a CD release if it isn't available. I know it is incorrectly labelled as Cries and Whispers hence me making it clear which track I am referring to here.

Only available on a Canadian CD version of the '1981-1982' mini album, or on an Austrian CD single of 'Everythings Gone Green'
Both are pretty rare...

are they both rare really though?
Yup, but still hard to find nowadays - luckily I managed to pick up both when they were first released! :)

I do have the canadian EP (well, not tough, I went to a store and bought it), but I don't have any EGG CD copy though :(
Old Blue wrote: Yes - "rare" was probably the wrong word. "Hard to find these days" is what I meant.
Actually, rare is probably the right word - I challenge you to find another copy of either CD single for sale today! :)
Fortunately, the record store I frequented in my teens had the EGG CD Single and a stoer in Orlando I went to on a family visit to Disneyworld had 81-82, and I got it. Gosh, I'm glad I kept those in good shape all these years.
People still bug out like they did in '92 when they see that 1981-1982 CD.
The 1981-1982 CD goes for stupid money on eBay, and I too think that it is not that rare an item - just a nice to have: all these original versions on CD - maybe that's the pull for all the eMugs out there?

It's also the only place to get the full version of Hurt on CD.
