Where do all of the samples in Don't Do It come from?

Obviously "Your mother sucks cocks in Hell" is from THE EXORCIST. Isn't "We're gonna get you" from THE EVIL DEAD? It sounds exactly like it, but it might be from something else, too. And where is "Don't put your finger on the button" from? And any other samples that I am missing? I've been listening to this top track a lot recently and it got me wondering.

I always thought it was "They're going to get you" and it was from the original Nightmare on Elm Street.

Er...what part of the movie was that from? Let's not forget that a clip of "The Evil Dead" appeared in Nightmare on Elm Street.

For some reason it always reminds me of the line "They're coming to get you, Barbara," from Night of the Living Dead, but it's probably not the same.

The FAQ has some info on that.

Same. There's another sample at the end, but it's all weirded out and can't be heard.

Personally I prefer the HAL9000 samples on Murder.

Oh I think you are right. The sample actually does sound like they're saying "GOING TO get you" rather than "GONNA get you", which is what they say in THE EVIL DEAD. I think you are right.

What a great line! I love that movie. That opening scene is so creepy. My GF is friends with George Romero and went to school with his daughter! Wowza! She (Romero's daughter) was one of the soldier girls in LAND OF THE DEAD.

I used to love zombie films but i remember seeing Dawn of The Dead again in the ninetys and being bitterly disappointed at how badly it had aged.:(

I agree that it hasn't aged as well as it could have (Day of the Dead has aged better, I think), but I still love it and consider it a classic. What are some of your favorite zombie flicks, NO Regret?

I haven't seen the movie in a long time, but I believe when the little girl was jump roping.
