Last night, Kings of Leon played in their home state of Tennessee at Vanderbilt University, where I attend. Although not totally my cup of tea - I dont go for southern music or culture - between the Donnas opening and the main show, THIEVES LIKE US was played during the soundcheck!!
The esoteric selection started with PSB's West End Girls slowly fading in, and I caught it at the first percussion. A few songs later, the first drumbeat of Thieves was unmistakable. And to top that all off, EATB's Back of Love came on!! Too bad I was all alone in appreciating it...I did have my NO black tour shirt on though!
