From today's Sun...

Pete's Still Potty - Pete Doherty has not calmed down - despite lying low for weeks. The Babyshambles singer surfaced last week to record an appearance on Later With Jools Holland but threw a tantrum when being interviewed. A BBC source said: "Before the first question Pete produced a banjo and treated us to a rendition of Joy Division's classic song Transmission." "He was then asked a couple of questions before he hurled our Dictaphone across the room and kicked the tape against the wall on his way out." But as drummer Adam Ficek pointed out, "It could have been worse!"

What a fooking dick. :nonono:

PD is an ugly wastrel of the highest order. Complete waste of space.

Saw the little smack rat last month & at the end of one of their shambolic tunes they did a few bars of transmission

I have to say, I wouldn't mind hearing a Smacked up Banjo version of Transmission :shades:

Doherty is a total twat though. I stopped taking calls from Kate Moss after she shacked up with him. :\ohwell:

So when is he going to make good his promise to OD before he gets too embarrassing for his fans and country? :p

I have yet to hear anything by the Libertines or Babyshambles. Are they any good?

Imagine a stoned Clash/Jam tribute band who can't play live but think they are great.

Best description I've ever seen about Libertines/Babyshambles!

Quite why Pete Doherty is considered talented, I've no idea - maybe I'm getting too old?

And as for Coldplay... :evil4:

Well, if George fucking Formby were still alive today I bet he would have done it too. Not much effort required believe me. ;)

You're not kidding there. They think 80's music means REOSpeedForeignerJourney bollox. There are islands of sanity though, I'll be in a brilliant club Saturday that plays all the great 80's stuff including plenty of NO
