Aussies time to pick up Collection and NOStory

they've both been out here (Canberra) since Sunday. Looks like we got the american discs as they are in NTSC and have Rhino written on them. I play my NTSC discs in PAL, saves me from having to adjust the colour for NTSC ie make purples look red, and then change it back for PAL.

I'm shocked at the quality of the earlier vids. I'm sure those the local ABC shows every now and again are of better quality.

The sound of the BLT vid also hasn't been fixed up. It still is slightly muffled in the middle and only clears up towards the end, the same as my old vids.

Sorry Warners Australia but I'm damned if I can wait several weeks unsure if there will be a relase here so got mine mail order from overseas some time ago.

Same. Feel kinda bad that I'm not buying locally but if it's just a repackaged NTSC copy anyway then I'll sleep OK tonight. A Collection is amazingly poor in quality.

If they wanted a digital quality of True Faith, they should have just contacted me. I could have lent them my cdv.

As I said abouve, I'm sure there must be better quality vids surviving somewhere. I'm sure if they'd approached our ABC, they would have opened their vaults. The vids I've taped of the telly don't seem nearly as grainy.

Got NO story but I'll be darned if I can find a collection. Story is ntsc region 2 3 4 5, got Warner Australia on it and only a small rhino logo amongst heaps of others. Been using the subtitles alot in it, I have to say.

i will check out jbs when i go to work on Monday - been at the coast so music stores sort of limited. In no hurry really - all the vids are basically on NO story - but i'll get it to support the band.

Heck, they should be supporting me. They're alot richer than I am.

I got the Aussie version of Singles sent to me from Brisbane for my birthday as an unexpected present :D

Can order as Item Ian from Rocking Horse Records in Brisbane - from their website - at least you could awhile ago and I saw it in their Brisbane shop. Region 1, though. 44.95, if I recall. Can't get Item coded for Aus anywhere.
