Can anyone tell me if she actually is still in the band, as I have not heard her on radio or seen her at any concerts in Australia and who was the drummer for the band while they were playing at the Hordern Pavillion in Sydney?

Also where can I get New Order clothing from in Australia, well Sydney anyway?

Yes, she's still in the band, but is caring for her sick daughter at the moment. Her husband Steve Morris was the drummer at the Hordern, as he has been for every other gig since 1977 or thereabouts. Can't miss his chin now!!

Technically, spiritually and officially, YES, Gillian's still in New Order but she's just occupied with more pressing family concerns which explains her absence. Who was the drummer? Well, it couldn't be anyone else but Stephen as far as I know....does he really look that different now? Clothing? There's loads of Oz correspondents on this site at the moment who will be happy to help you out on that one... :) :)

When Steve is playing keyboards (BLT and Blue Monday) the "drummer" is probably a drum machine or sequencer. :D

Could you possibly give any details about who the stockists of New Order clothing are?

Gillian's left the band. And that's that. Picked up an Aussie mage whilst Down Under - can't remember which, Rolling Stone perhaps? (I left all me cuttings on a bloody plane!) - and it basically said as much in black & white. Though why there's no official line on this, I don't know.

I think it's safe to assume that PC is, in fact, 'Here To Stay'.

Johnny G ran into the pair at Adelaide airport and commented that their nipper looked in good health!

PS. Gillian was at the Adelaide and Perth shows...

PPS. There may well have been a roadie doing some tuning at the Hordern show perhaps, but Steve was defo the drummer on the night. If you get the angle right on the stage you can see Barney and Phil's geetar roadie 'wigging out' to the far left of the stage during songs when he's tuning, so he almost resembles a fifth member of the band!

I think there isn't any stockist for NO clothing in Australia.....gotta go the net....sites like 'bluecat' ( See the main page on this site )

BTW, Welcome Emilia.....it's nice to have a fellow Novocastrian posting on this site....WELCOME...

Also if you really want to wear NO on the streets...try doing your own Tee....I've done an okay looking 'GET READY' one with red stripe & girl with camera.... I've just made one with Joy Division's Les Bain Douche cover on the front....looks good....
