Alright jem you outclevered me....is that a comment that he's decidedly NOT as fit as a butcher's dog, or is it something to do with his red nose and "special stuff"?

None of my friends get it. They think i'm mad to like someone so much older. I think he is gorgeous and i find him even more attractive now he is older. Some things get better with age!

None of my friends get it either. I don't know how they can't see it! I didn't cry at my own wedding but I cried the first time I saw Barney live in concert :)

Well lads you heard it here first, the way to a woman's heart/soul/underwear is to look old and cold, and make a complete dog's knob of the one thing that's meant to be your forte (in Bernard's case singing). Not a dry seat in the house :D

bloody interesting question tho. AM I jealous of Barney? Would I want to have Barney's life? Probably not, it seems to have worn the poor soul down a little. Would I want his talent? yes, but I have some of my own and while only a shadow of his, it is MINE, and it's enough to be getting on with thanks. I do wish i had his ability to put 2 lines of almost random words together than can sum up all the pain or joy in a human heart in a way that no one else on this planet has ever been able to do.

And as for the legions of chicks, well hell yeah, what's not to envy about being adored by a bunch of such easily pleased babes :D

I don't think I would want his life either. In fact, I don't think I would want to be famous. The money would be nice but not the fame. It seems like you'd have to be paranoid all the time.

Easy to please? Well...I don't know about that...but I'd let Barney find out if it is easy or not...

I could deal with famous, at the level of NO's fame (and of course their fans are generally respectful, friendly sorts).

BUT like "boy"band/shite-idol-winner famous? oh god no. A few weeks (if you;re lucky years) of being under seige from hordes of screaming morons who want to tear you apart and own you, while the press peer deeply into every orrifice you posess. Then it's all over and you meet Ant and Dec for a while, then dissappear and probably go mental.
