Crystal was on hollyoaks before, ahhhhhhh what a show, of course i watch hollyoaks for the wealth of acting talent, and definitely not for the fact that 99% of the female cast are amazingly hot :love2: ...............

Crystal was also on this week's Dream Team on sky one, gotta love crystal :thumb:

That's cheered me up Jack!

I was in Chester last weekend - it's full of women who look just like that!

Fuck right off, nowhere on Earth has women who look like that.

i'd have been told.

I try and avoid it, it sucks you in, you start for a bit of a letch and before you know you're worrying about what that eejit does with the bleedin bar and so on.

Still I suppose it beats watching Jack's old fella on Emerdale. :D

It's a fair cop - it's full of women who WISH they did though.

Full make-up and skimpy clothes for a quick look around the shops.

As an Hollyoak addict, I've spotted 60 Miles an Hour and even LWTUA on occasion! Definitely Manchester bands feature a lot... whoever picks the backing tracks seems to have their head screwed on. Some Motown featured the other day as well.

what'd you call that show that was on BBC 3 or 4 (think it ended up on 2) where they basically stuck the factory catalogue plus some other lesser mancunian efforts into a flipping jukebox. Only seen it about twice, and it was just fucking crocked with Order and Mondays and the like.

Saw the Tranny and Suzzy show meself following a thread a few weeks back about the amount of NO stuff they use. Yes heard Crystal and it was fannytastic. Unfortunately, I then sat thru an hour watching ugly, fat women taking their clothes off.

If I wanted that I could go down bleedin' Staly Vegas!

As for Crystal live, fookin brilliant. Love the Alan Wise intro on Retro, "...Those five spunky boys from Rochdale... there not the Beatles, there not the Rolling Stones, there not the bananas, it's fookin' New Order again!"

As for NO spotting. I still can't get over bumping into Bernard in Baby Gap in the Trafford Centre following their MEN Arena gig a few years back. What a fookin, polite bastard he is as well!!! Top banana!

He's hardly going to swear obsceneties in Baby Gap..He'd probably just got the young un over to sleep:shades:

...And some cunt like me strides over shouting, "Look it's fookin Barney Sumner!" etc.

Yeah I get your drift, but it was really a case of, "Bernard, great gig last night. Can't wait for some new NO material."

BS - "Yeah it went really well. We're back in the studio and hoping to have something out maybe in the summer."

18 months later Get Ready hits the streets...

I might be a Manc but I do have some sense of manners! :thumb:

Havent seen them wandering around the streets of Brisbane.

Did however have a 'duh' moment a few minutes ago listening to Kraftwerk - realised the Krafty cover mirrors Autobahn. Jeez, one could cr at my stupisity on this one.

In Oakland when Hooky was staring out into the crowd to pick out whom to throw his drumpad sticks out to after BM, I stood up in the front of the nosebleed stands, and screamed his name at the top of my lungs while waving my arms like Ian Curtis on grand mal day. He glanced at me for a split second and I blew my load on the spot, losing consciousness and tasting the floor. When I woke up, he had thrown the stick to some guy in a Kraftwerk t-shirt.

I was wearing a Stone Roses t-shirt!

Speaking of NO songs on Trinny and Susanna. I heard Ceremony on a similar lifestyle program on primetime BBC a couple of weeks back, can't remember which one it was though.

Grew up near Chester, that was our fave Saturday afternoon activity.........strolling round town checking out the talent, seeing what new gear scallies comin down from Liverpool for the day were wearing and then a browse in Penny Lane Records for all the best indie choons. Now long gone, squeezed out by the likes of Our Price.

All the scallies thought Chester was easy pickings cos the stores were dead polite to all their middle class customers, so they had low key security to avoid people feeling threatened. So one Satdy afternoon me little bro and his mates chanced their young arms in Woolies and got collared in the car park by some fat plain clothed store detecive! Their stash? a few blank C60 tapes!, that's what I call beginner's bad luck. We had the ob round dishing out a bollocking with me at the top of the stairs cocking an ear.

Couldn't believe it when Hollyoaks first started, a soap based in Chester! was well pissed off when I watched it and they all had suvvern accents. Not seen it in years now.

Will probs go into Chester for a day over Xmas, always mobbed though. Bit of a different experience these days.....take me folks for a nice meal somewhere *dutifulson*. U still get the best waitresses mind

I have to say, for all the 20 or so minutes I've seen of hollyoaks, it looks shit.

The "birds" in it all look pretty stupid too if you ask me.
