So one day, NO will finally stop being NO.....far flung may that time be, I've some serious gig-going to catch up on.

So when they all retire from being RockGods, where do their future paths lie. let's play school careers teacher....

Hooky, has such an easy going manner, and audiogenic voice that he can ONLY go into Radio (maybe TV, but he might frighten the children). I could genuinely see Hooky taking over John Peel's mantle as "the musician's man on the inside". It's either that or "at the third fookin stroke it'll be closing time precisely".

Bernard, could take up teaching technology to music students. the only problem would be that after a few of our boy's bitter music biz talse, the whole class would transfer to Home ecconomics. More likely I think Bernard will just grow old disgracefully on his boat, and vanish at sea one day in his 80's.

Steve could pull a decent radio gig as well, if he'd only stop giggling into his chest (presumably trained into him by years of silently ( to us) commenting on everything the front two say on the mics. I dunno about you, but I could SO see Steve doing a kids educational music show, he's got such an engaging personality and knows his shit so well, he could really pull it off. Teach the buggers by keeping them in stitches, it works every time on kids of any age (I know, I taught guitarists about synths!).

I dread to think what Mrs Morris will come up with once mothering duties calm down a bit, other than being Steve's beautiful assistant on his show :) If she's left alone, Gillian will revert to type and just turn into "northern mum" ("no one leaves my house unfed, sit down", while doing the washing, ironig and 14 other things, and for some reason not seeming to mind), so best to keep her occupied.

Young Phillip.....hmmmmm I have high hopes that as long as NO don't rumble on for another couple of decades, that Phil can be rehabilitated and eventually, with proper treatment and support, be gently eased back into working in the real music industry.

Phil continues on alone, hiring Pottsy, Gillespie, and some of those twenty people who were in Revenge to go on tour with as "NO^2: The New Order Experience"

Only thing is....Hooky will want to play :)

i see them going on like the rolling stones. that raises the question what are the stones doing in 10 years time?

when it happens, we'll never hear from them again me thinks. might spot Hooky's bass on the music for a TV show, but thats it.

Actually I could really see (well, hear, but you know what I mean) Hooky as the Radio DJ worshipped by millions for playing stuff that people actually like. The new John Peel, if you like. Tells it how it is, takes no bull from anyone. Wouldn't be the same as a gig, obviously, but needn't get in the way of gigging.
