Not a really a farewell but...

Hi everyone...

It's been quite some time since my last post. And even those last posts were very sparse.

I guess that, after having made 1500 posts in about six months, I felt that I hadn't much things left to say.

So, quite naturally, I ended up not posting anymore, or only very little, forgetting to keep track of all those threads.

That doesn't mean I won't post anymore. In fact, I still visit the site and I'm still keeping an eye on the french forum for which I'm the moderator, although it seems a bit dead right now.

But for now, I will keep a very low profile. But I didn't want to go without a word as there's still a lot of people I care for in here.

I'd be tempted to name some members I've had some privileged contact with but I'd be too afraid to forget someone.

It's nothing to do with the evolution of this board, if there's been one. It's just me.

So take care, everyone.

And anyway, I will check this thread for the replys, and I will probably reply to those posts and maybe I'll end up posting like mad like in the old days.

But for now, as I said, I will go back to the shadows...

First Huntsman, then Muffy, now you Klumpy. It's very sad. I guess everything changes, and nothing good lasts.

Don't go too far Buster - will be hoping to meet up with you and Benoit in Brussels towards the end of March - and this time I will find L'Ancienne Belgique !

I guess, Patrick, the trouble is that, to keep track of the threads and what's going on, you have to give this forum a lot of time.

And, at some point, I couldn't afford to spend so much of my working time in here...

Klumpy, Not sure if you even know who the hell I am, but did want to reiterate that you will be missed. But by opting out of here, that doesn't mean you're going to be doing more work, does it? That sounds horrible!

I remember when I first came to this place and you were just plain old Geoff Klompkes. I remember splitting my sides with laughter as dear Huntsy toyed with your name until you finally took the logical step and became Buster Klumpy. Above all I remember you as a genuinely nice man who never had a bad word to say about anyone, something which is sadly all too rare these days! Your input here will be sorely missed Geoff. I wish you good luck and happiness in whatever you do, always.

The thing about my work is that I wanted to check the new posts about all the time... And I love what I do for work, it's a very human place and that's too rare nowadays to be toyed with.

And a special thanks to you, Muffy. I've always been amazed by your generosity, always offering to send your goodies, always helping anyone in trouble or just with questions when you could.

Buster isn't the only one to be taking a back seat in the near future. I've just changed job, and will probably not get a lot of opportunities to post during the day, and as Buster says, once you lose track of things it's difficult to get it back. I'll still come up with some whirls of pissdom though occasionally.

Also a shame -though I will again be disappearing for long periods shortly I'd imagine, as I'll be out of this office a bit.
