Will it continue the single line + coco artwork of the get ready singles, or will it be something new?

I'm willing to bet it will refect the soundtrack or movie in some way. I think Get Ready is finished. But if this song makes it in the top 10 or maybe top 20, then they might try their luck with one more song from Get Ready, to try and ride the wave of here to stay.

No...in another blatant attempt to confuse New Order fans who aren't all that into New Order, they will toss out another red herring...

this time, the cover shall consist of photos of Peter Saville and Arthur Baker with 2 Live Crew...and hard core rapper Vanilla Ice...you know this is true because you read it on the internet!!!!

Come on folks, what's the betting London Records will pull yet another stunt (we can always rely on them to do this) and put back the release date so it clashes with lots of other big releases?.... I'm betting £30 on it right now. Who's up for this bet?

The answer is here:

The red stripe is still there, but what is it on the cover? A Haçienda picture?

EBay is still a good source for pictures I see.. ;)

If those losers don't release Turn My Way, I'll deny them for the rest of my life :D

Looks like the Hac to me. I take it the 3.41's reference to the length of a radio edit of some sort

Aye - it's definitely The Hacienda:nod: Major - I know what you mean about The State video - very hazy black and white footage - I think they shot that footage in America though;) Steve & Gillian mixed it I think.

I think that another Get Ready single will be released on the success of 24 Hour Party People. I would've liked a CD release for Someone Like You. When I saw the 12" it was £7.99, and I wasn't going to pay that much for something that was probably the Someone Like You (Shit Mix).

Oh just read this by the way on the 24 Hour Party People site:

The tracklist for the soundtrack is still to be confirmed, but will definitely feature a brand new New Order track, 'Here to Stay', which has been produced by the Chemical Brothers. The soundtrack will be released on April 8.

'Here to Stay' will be released as a single on April 1. The video for this single will be shot in mid-February in London and will feature John Simm, who plays Bernard Sumner in the movie. You can reach their site at www.newordergetready.com.
