Terry Christian, the tone deaf tosser, has placed NO at no.11 in his Manc chart for 2005, behind nomarks suck as I Am Kloot, Jim Noir, and Lookfreekz. Elbow are at no.1 and Oasis, depressingly predictably are at no.3:

Who tops Manc chart? Manchester Evening News 4th Jan 2006
THERE can be no doubt that Manchester's music scene remains one of the strongest in the country after a top 40 of purely Manc tunes of the year was compiled.
The list was created by BBC GMR DJs Terry Christian and Conrad Murray for a live countdown on Monday.
And it was Elbow who captured the coveted number one spot with their single Forgot Myself.
Unsatisfied
Up-and-coming Manchester band Nine Black Alps came in at number two with Unsatisfied, with megastars Oasis having to be content with number three for The Importance Of Being Idle.
Conrad tells me he and Terry were spoilt for choice to come up with just 40 for the list - even though they imposed a limit of one song for each band for the chart.
"It's been a great year for Manchester music," says Conrad.
