Anyone else notice this? Don't know what to think about this. Maybe it's a "tribute"....I'm just glad New Order doesn't do that too often.

Either that or the side-projects; Some of Monaco's basslines had passing similarities to ones in NO songs. And, every so often NO dip into the JD catalogue as well.

the bass line fot SOTN was used again in mr disco, but who gives a monkeys as long as they're making something new with it and we get more releases, it beats another bloody compilation.

Nah, the intro sounds far more like Madonna's Material Girl to me. CTB :bear:

I noticed that back in the day - many people probably did too - For some reason, I always regarded the MrDisco version as the colour upgrade of the B&W State of the Nation original.

Glad I got that off my chest. Coat on...

I don't think it's that similar.

Listen to how the sequenced bassline from Paradise compares with that from Dream Attack. That's a bit more blatant.

most of N.O tunes are very similar.it's a fact.and this is maybe ,one of the reasons of our leasure when we are listening to their songs. BUT: CAN WE REPROACH TO N.O OF BEING N.O ?
