My Mancunian chums saw him in a posh Japaness restaurant with his girlfriend, Phil and others. He was given presents so obviously a birthday celebration.
For extreme trivia lovers he was wearing black!
I am pleased to say my friends were discreet and didn't let on they knew who he was.

amusing. No its just mildly interesting (to me) to think I was in that restaurant a week or so ago. Ok so the excitement wore off quite quickly. But I sometimes wonder if any of the NOers come to Manchester at all anymore. Apparently so!

Mind you, I'd gladly take that job of reading his messages to him!(providing my pay was getting to sit on the studio floor and just listen to them jam and whatnot. )
