just watched the sex pistols nmtb essential albums documentary thought it was quite good ,got to hear some of the tracks in a different light ect. got me thinking have new order done an essential thingy for vh1? if not which album would anyone like to see done in this fashion ie: interviews,back stories,in studio mixing ect you know the crack. id go for pcl as it broke new order onto the masses and some of the tracks still stand up today. the petition starts here lol.

I'm all up for them putting out a bit more background recordings - random interviews, odd things they recorded just for laughs, more behind-the-scenes kind of stuff with them working with their studio - it all interests me.
I'd really like more of an idea of that transition they took from post JD to NO. anything in those early years would be great to get more details on. How they formed their ideas, things that influenced them, odd stories about stupid things that happened.
Maybe even alternate ideas of how they would have liked their promotion to go, and what thoughts they have on their videos and merchandise.
If the band ever got the treatment, it'd be for PCL or Technique. Unknown Pleasures or Closer would be too difficult. PCL because it's their 'breakthrough'; Technique because it's their 'masterpiece'. Although an hour solely dedicated to the Perfect Kiss might be pretty awesome.
