Apart from the obvious World in Motion, Player in the League, Best and Marsh, Such a Good Thing, TBTHOG, what other tracks mention football in the lyrics. I seem to remember something about Utd getting beat in Flicker by Electronic but can't recollect anymore. Me and a mate were trying to think late last night in the pub.

Anyone wanna add?

As I know "Best & Marsh" is instrumental  ...

And I don't see soccer in "TBTHOG" and "Such a good thing"...

Must have been a really drunk night for you guys :skeptic: .

Seem to remember an interview with Bernard in Q about this. They asked him if TBTHOG was about wafty cranking and he denied it. In fact, he was utterly disgusted that grown men even performed such grubby acts.

From a French point of view, the 1st connection would be Manchester itself!

In jest, surely?

Coming from a man who was never afraid to drop a cock reference into new songs played live, or sing about his "pleasure zone".

It's pretty safe to say that Bernard is obsessed with the size of his cock, at least when under the influence of Pernod!

And "Such A Good Thing" was the official BBC Radio 5 World Cup 2002 theme song! :smoking:
