I have just been told by a text from Liv that Kylie mixed Can't get you out of my head with blue monday live at the brit awards. Could someone please tell me this isn't true.

I had the same text. Now I have a reason to hate Green Tuesday - or should we call it Black Wednesday now ?

Kylie Murders Blue Monday - And why not? how many remixer's have already done it;)

Alternatively

Kylie Murders Blue Monday - I'm glad some bastard has:spit:

or even

Kylie Murders Blue Monday - she pleaded guilty - the judge gave her a mild ticking off, and asked if she'd murder that song that they released in 1990 (which got to Number 1)

Nice one N21... don't see you much on ICQ these days... and what happened to your site?

I never realised how much that song sounds like Blue Monday... mixed or not. Surely a lawsuit is required!

After this shameful incident, perhaps there was more to the smacker Barney planted on Kylie a few months back than meets the eye!!! ;)

No collaborations please godammit :nono:

Now this is not on - in fact it's down right tragic :(

The pixie minogue does her own chuffing novelty pop bobbins very well and after one too many shandies i may well have wobbled round a dancefloor to the said can't get you out of my head nonsense and i'm sure she keeps men all over very happy but that's just it she really must learn to leave proper musicians alone - didn't she learn her lesson after the pap James Dean Bradfield thing - bloomin' moose :moose:

Is this the same Kylie who snuck an insidious chemical weapon into the states a few years back disguised as a cover of "The Locomotion?"

If it is, don't dare drop that shit here. I'm still fucking pissed off about the senseless pain this bitch has inflicted on my ears and my country.

If not, nevermind.

from NME.com:

"Kylie performed live, mixing New Order's 'Blue Monday' into a performance of 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' - destined to be one of the bootlegged tracks of 2002. "

Hi there, my site is down down down... The Pop Group With A Dark Past has been closed for ages now, I reconsidered relaunching it months ago but it didn't happen. Don't have time ! ICQ ? Bah, see that porn spam ? I'm still there, invisible.

Sorry for the off topic stuff !

Nope. I don't think a lawsuit is required.

BTW, I told Dave (old TPGWADP foe) that this song resembled Blue Monday a lot months ago... :)

As you may well know, I hate the stick thin, blubber lipped bint, but I for one will be tuning in at 8.00 tonight to see exactly what they do with BM

I know it's trendy to slag BM on this board - but how many other 20 year old songs are incorporated into live performances to be watched by millions. It's a great song, still relevant to both POP and dance, and lets face it, one of the best things the 'Order have ever done. Even if I have heard it 30bloodymillion times

Well like it or not BM must have a special place in all of us and i too feel that the evil deed that the poisonous pixie has committed needs to be observed if only for amusement value - or to establish how bad it is so it can be decided if she needs to be stopped in her tracks - perhaps she'll make a public apology but it's more likely that she'll get her arse out and 99% of the blokes will forgive her! :happytongue:

Sara Cox played it on Radio1 this morning. Later on she read an e-mail out from some womble saying "Didn't that new mix of 'CGYOOMH' Kylie performed sound a bit like that 'How Does it Feel' by New Order. Womble. Even Coxy took the piss......

Oh, and I've just seen a pic of Kylie in the paper - she does indeed have her arse out, also her boobs seem to have mysteriously grown......

Having heard the RealAudio clip, I'd like to make an accusation:

It was Kylie Minogue...on stage at Earl's Court...with the microphone.

The envelope please...

Shame Kylie is such a midget. Give me her Big/Younger Sis any day. Much better developed.

Anyhoo, didn't Cathy Dennis write "Can't Get You Out Of My Mind?". A truly British eccentric, for anyone who saw her on Buzzcocks a few weeks back. Absolutely barking! Nice one..
