OT: off topics

there seems to be a resurgence in off topic posts. there's nothing wrong with that ( i enjoy some of them). but is this a sign that we are running out of stuff to talk about? cuz i've seen some boards go dead after a while cuz there's only so much new order stuff you can talk about. this is actually a very active board. The Smog mailing lists and cat power boards are virtually dead. do you think you guys will ever run out of stuff to say and leave this board dead? abysmal thougth i know.

This board will never die out. I am actually conducting research on the Classic New Order fan and while your comment about off topic posts is very true, to me it is very on topic as it helps me delve into the psyche of the fans who manifest themselves on this board. So far i have found that this board is very active as most of the posters do not have anything better to do with there live but trawl here to gossip, recollect memories of better days and hurl abuse at each other. Hopefully i can update you soon with some further findings!

Well, so long as it's cool with Robert Smith, I'll keep posting here.......

the off topicness is really a good thing. i was a bit worried a while ago when all the topics suddenly became no related. suddenly i had a lot less to say for myself! :p

What's a pastie? Here in the U.S. pasties are the things strippers put on their nipples and then spin around. I don't know what I think of cheese and onion ones but I guess it'd be fun to eat.;)
