Its called 'The Hindu Times'. I was round at Noel Gallaghers last night and he played it to me. I said "Look noel, its OK but its not great."

So, because of me they are scrapping the whole album and becoming a light jazz band. Strange but true.

I thought they couldn;t play any more because Rick Parfitt had repetitive strain injury or something ?

Oasis........up for the "They Really Don't Know When To Quit" award (nominated alongside the Rolling Stones, David Cassidy, Aerosmith, and Barbara Streisand just for good measure)

I must say i have absolutly no interest in hearing any new Oasis......"Little James" is just too much of a crime against humanity

God, yeah. Don't they rhyme 'plastercine' with 'trampoline' on that awful song? :(

Fresh off the presses! Noel Gallagher states, "We're the greatest band in the world. . . only we hit our peak six years ago and we don't write any good songs anymore and we've delusions of grandeur from all the drinking and drugging and we lost all our money in the divorce settlements. But my brother is going to be the best songwriter in the universe, right after Jennifer Lopez and Tiffany."

Watching the football, or watching you and the missus? Didn't you see that guy in the hedges?

never trust a band that calls themselves the best band in the world (U2, oasis, milli vinilli...)

do i care? um, no. lost interest after morning glory record. liam is a jackass and the americans fucking sub-titled him when they did a "behind the music" feature on oasis.

Maybe Oasis are afraid to admit they've completely run out of ideas. Could this possibly explain why the'yre bringing out another album of more of the same? Is there a cover version of "Free As A Bird" on it by anychance? Bloody hell - it's not going to be a proper Oasis record without one, is it??!! :D :D

Hear ya about Oasis, ShugZV, feel the same way. Actually did like D'Ya Know What I Mean before the album came out, but once I bought it, I was bored beyond tears. Turgid and lifeless...not a good combo. :nonono:

Can't remember what they sound like actually as I haven't played that album in about 3 years. Guess I'll give 'em a spin tonight when I get home after another drink or three. :spit:

You'll be happy to know that I didn't do it! Went straight to bed and forgot all about it (til now). At the end of the weekend, all I usually need is the sound of silence!
