Members of the So Solid Crew were involved in a 'small incident' with Westlife's Bryan McFadden at last night's Brit awards.
According to reports, several members of the 30-strong crew are said to have thrown empty champagne bottles at McFadden after he goaded them as they went to accept the Best British Video award for 21 Seconds. One unidentified crew member is also alleged to have attempted to throw a punch at the Westlife singer. McFadden was eventually led away by minders.
An onlooker to the fracas commented that, 'Bryan was mouthy all night and he was trying to wind them up and annoy them.' A spokesperson for the South London garage crew added that, 'Bryan was trying to wind them up all night but the So Solid Crew didn't rise to the bait. They are not here to fight.'
However, a Brit's spokesman played down the incident. 'I can confirm that there was a small incident backstage between So Solid Crew and Bryan McFadden,' he said. 'Some bottles were thrown but no one was hurt. It was mainly a drunken incident.'
