I followed neworder since 1981, and almost Joy division & Neworder albums sleeves are not attractive but beautiful with a magic simplicity ,it just maked me dream when i was so young,i keeped this image in my spirit till 1983 unfortunatley the actually public can't appreciate the sleeve Art work over CD size, contrary to LP album, anyway i did not forget Amosphere EP with a landscape of snow, the white colour as a sign of purity;"transmission"EP with Orion constellation, a strange vieuw from a space;is there any transmission with another world and curtis, he's gone with this secret; "temptation"EP sleeve with all colours of a vision of adoration and love such as the eyes still moving to make a dance around a night ceremony. "Ceremony"EP sleeve in GREEEN!!!,with two lions to bow down before to confess even if in a lonely place was very cold song ,then "closer" still mysterious, but simply maybe because it just a premonition of the end of one group but certainely of one a greatest time of humanity

one of the many reasons i love my vinyl collection. i don't actually play them, as i have just about all the tracks on cd. i just sometimes get them out and spend hours looking at them.

i think the bm 88 has a rather fetching sleeve. i liked it so much i actually bought two copies when it was new. i don't care much for the actual remix.

don't worry they usually live lying flat behind glass. some are even in plastic sleeves.

I know, for every 'new' piece of JD/NO vinyl I get, another band loses its plastic sleeve. If I buy the new 12x12" release (which I'm still giving due consideration) I think I may run out as well.
