No, he was a fascist bastard who didn't fly to the U.K. to surrender, but flew there to try and convince the U.K. to surrender to the nazis. I was so happy when that bugger died all alone in Spandau, it's what he deserved, complete isolation.

As i may have said on a previous occasion,my families only claim to fame was that my dad guarded Rudolph Hess in spandau in the 60's.

Goering ordered Hess's plane to be shot down. He made a personal phone call to JG26 ordering them to hunt down and destroy Hess's Bf 110 that evening. The Nazis used to have postcards of all their leaders. Hess's postcard was pulled from the shelves the next day.

Seems to be a re-edition of the famous Amsterdam bootleg from 1980 or 81. The original one is a nice piece of collection :)

And a good job he did at Spandau, there's nothing like seeing a Nazi realise that there rascist "ideals" are just that, "ideals" that have nothing to do with the world community.

I think somebody needs to update the FAQ's "Hacienda" bit.
