Glasto / Sweden

Well, after the new rumours is anyone going to risk buying Glasto tickets just in case?

Though if NO don't play, £100 will be worth it to see Rod the Mod prancing around to Maggie May.

And what about Sweden? Anyone considering this? If you can get there by train it may be worth a visit (too scared to fly at the moment).

Finally, who remixed Video 586? They should do this in the encore and then there would be no need for Blue Monday unless Kylie makes a guest appearence.

Sweden's gonna be expensive. Tickets are £78 for the three nights, flights are a minimum £120 according to LastMinute.com, beer is a tenner a pint.......there's fuck all else on the bill besides New Order and the Chems, maybe Royksopp and Oxide & Neutrino worth a listen. The set will be: Crystal/Transmission/Regret/Ceremony or Love Vigilantes.........

Yep - I'm definitely up for Sweden - gonna have a word with me Uncle John tomorrow - see if he's up fer it an all - should be fookin brilliant! Is Glastnost confirmed? As much as I love the early Rod The Mod (with the Faces) I wouldn't pay £100 fer that;)

You can fly to Sweden for f'all with Easyjet. Or Ryanair. We did Stockholm before Xmas for about 60 notes, and some of the Manc lads got it for less than 20! However, I think the gig is in the middle of nowhere, and near none of the major cities. Oh, and Mickey - the train would take forever mate. The ferry across is a good 24hrs!

I did Roskilde in 93 and then we just flew in mid morning, got a train from Copenhagen to the Festival, forked out full whack for a 3-day ticket, saw the Order, then shot back to Copenhagen and a flight back. All very civilised. If we could do that again for Sweden, I'd be tempted..
