Legendary Comedian Spike Milligan, his crazy, zany humour will be sadly missed.

On the Ning Nang Nong Where the Cows go Bong! And the Monkeys all say Boo! There's a Nong Nang Ning Where the trees go Ping! And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo. On the Nong Ning Nang All the mice go Clang! And you just can't catch 'em when they do! So it's Ning Nang Nong! Cows go Bong! Nong Nang Ning! Trees go Ping! Nong Ning Nang! The mice go Clang! Australia mourns the loss of the last Goonie. In a place where British humor is greatly appreciated it is sad to see the passing of a legend

His Royal Goonie spent quite a bit of time in Australia....

...in the town of Woy Woy which is halfway between Sydney and Newcastle.....

he told us he was ill.

read that he didn't like being referred to as a goon all the time on account of all the other stuff he had done - tv series, poems, books, childrens books etc.

wonder if they will re-run any of the Q series?

Ah...the catankerous old sod finally blows his last raspberry.... anyway, I preferred Michael Bentine meself - after all, he did give us "Pottytime" in Pottytown when I was a three yr old nipper......

I know i'm a bit late in this but i have been away... anyway sad to hear about old Spikey lad. One of my fave Spike things is his version of the Old Testament. Now he has gone there will be no version of the new testament - do we have anyone that would like the contract? I am not amusing enough and even if i were i doubt i could be arsed.
