it's always welcome to hear these clippets but I don't think this is an especially good performance, or gig for that matter. I know I'm in the minority here.

Well some people like the performances in which they're utterly smashed, diving around the stage, with Bernard slurring and shrieking, and others like the souless acts where they trudged out on stage, stood in place with frowns, banged out the tunes for 45 minutes with a hundred percent clinical accuracy and zero passion, and proceeded to piss-off backstage (1993). Can't argue with the quality of the recordings of something like Reading 1993 or the spot-on technical performances, but I prefer some personality to a performance, even if that personality is stark-raving-incoherence. A matter of taste, really :shrug:.
