Grammys.....load of sh**?

Anyone catch the junk-fest that was the Grammys last night? Some good performances (I swear U2's Bono saying "heart and soul" during the chorus of Walk On was a JD reference), but on the whole a lackluster night, made more so by the rants and ravings of the head of the Grammys, ticked off about downloading songs off the Internet (talk about paranoid!).Anyway, something I've probably asked before but I'll ask again: Have NO ever been up for a Grammy? Just a matter of public interest, to be sure.....

Haven't watched the Grammys since they gave best new artist to Taste of Honey over Elvis Costello and The Cars. I know all of us have been playing Boogie Oogie Oogie for all of these years.

i haven't watched the grammies for four years now. no one i liked ever got nominated since whenever.

Pure shit. I can't understand the loads of shit that americans get and prize it. I don't who gets more: Brazil or America. We're exception and NO will never get a Grammy.

I saw bits of The Grammy's and what I did see appeared to be instantly forgettable.

They should rename it the Granny Awards.

And I just realized...I'm talking about the wrong frigging song!!!! Guess I'm just not as patriotic as I thought I was...as a matter of fact...looks like I'm no patriot at all!!! Oh well...

It is not about being patriot or anything like that but I think that brazilians and americans don't have good taste in music. Masses can't listen to Hook's bass and know that it's a bass. They can think it's just another sound in the music. They just want to buy and don't want to listen to it.
