Will they get nostalgic and realise that Perfect Kiss and songs from Low Life / Technique are what made New Order truly special and start playing then again? Love JD but don't want to hear Barney murdering them anymore.
When New Order are 55?

Dunno if they'll still be going in 10 years time - but I wouldn't like to see any more re-releases of old stuff if they were.....but it'd be good to hear them play the "old stuff"![]()
Hmm... NewOrder will probably still be going in 10 years time, but not releasing any albums. They'll always be hugely respected and I think that the record company re-releasing the more popular tracks is unavoidable. (Blue Monday-2012 anyone?)
yeah, i honestly would like them to quit if it got beyond a joke. As im sure everyone here would.
It would be nice to hear them still working on new material, and possibly providing remixes for other artists and doing the odd collaboration but it would seem a little tragic if they turned into another Quo or Stones....
I think their high point as far as their image was concerned was around the time of Technique, they were just as cool as fuck then! ![]()
I'm sure that everone is really waiting to see the "Here Are The OLD Men" video...
That will be cool...Perfect Kiss & Sister Ray during the Friday night Bingo at the local VFW.
I can't wait

Yeah - that Elvis suit Barney had in the WI-F-M video (awreet there ShugZV! ZV!! ZV!! ZV!! ZV!!! ZV!!!!!) will definitely come in handy when they start trawling the Vegas circuit. ....2012 at a guess....if not earlier. :D

Drugs and Hamburgers anyone?
Sorry
Nice one there, Hubert and Shug, almost made me spit out my beer.
Let's see, there's a casino for Paris, NY, Venice and ancient Rome and Egypt, as well as a bunch of others that goad you into thinking it's a wonderful thing to lose yer kids college fund on a drunken weekend. Let's hope that NO's situation doesn't denigrate to where they have to play the bloody Liberace Museum for a gig.
NO never started off as, or ever were, a "conventional" band so I don't fear any tragic, twilight of the gods scenarios. If Get Ready is anything to go by long may they continue.

Welcome to the board. We can only hope that NO will continue!
