Why June? Festivals, havent they played enough f\* festivals. The sets downunder were less than inspiring, alright theyre professional, but so type cast. Lets have spontaneity, different sets, something to get our teeth into. Why June, we`ll be winning the world cup then. Come on!!

Change the setlist???

:nonono::nonono::nonono::nonono::nonono::nonono::nonono::nonono:

I rather like going to a gig knowing full well that I will not get to hear the perfect kiss....

okay...so I'd like the setlist to undergo a slight revamping...I'd even be willing to go without Blue Monday...

Well they'll have to rehearse Hear to Stay before they play live so let's hope that Lionrock geezer has been re-programming Perfect Kiss and Sub-culture in the meantime.

I still think they should drop in a couple of numbers from Monaco and Electronic...

I'd go as far to say i'd miss England in the cup final to go see a one off concert like that!!! (not that either has any chance of actually happing mind!)

I'm still confused as to why there's been nothing from Technique on the recent dates. I'd quite happily lose TBTHOG, Ruined In A Day Blue Monday in return for Round & Round and Dream Attack even Guilty partner.

England won't make the final, they will talk up their chances and get thrashed. The only choice is New Order :evil4:

It's amazing how the sport of Pommie baiting has really taken off here down under. Obviously due to the fact that they are shite at every other sport they create the nation holds its breath hoping that this sickly pack of boys will carry it's hope forward and win some kind of trophy is just ridiculous. Face it, You guys will choke as always, your cricket team will run away to join a boy band and the best players in your rugby team will announce that they are Welsh! England world capital of sporting losers!!!! :evil4:

Changing the setlist, removing Blue Monday?

Come on, we all know they ARE predictable.. so they won't change it that much...

So unless Kylie goes on stage for Blue Monday, there should be no surprise, except a presence of the Chemical Brothers, at least in Sweden since they are part of the same festival..

Out of Control in the Chemical set, and Here To Stay in the New Order set anyone? :D

I dunno, we discover your country, breathe life and culture into it, we give your ancestors free passage all the way over there - in shackles, admittedly - and this is how you repay us? Some people. Tsk.

No argument here.

England lays waste to every other country in the music stakes, IMHO.

[Let's not forget that there was a thriving culture here before Captain Cook however!]

I think you'll find that the Curling champs are in fact Scottish.

I think youll find that curling isnt in fact a sport but the ancient art of hair treatment pink rinses do to make themselves look funky. :skeptic:

For any football fans, I just looked and it seems the only game we'll miss on 9thJune is Russia v Japan (12:30gmt) kick off.

So New Order are footy fans after all then ? Obviously they chose this date so as to not cause disruption to our TV watching schedules !

They would only have been Scottish if they had lost. As they won, they are British. ;)

Ah, do i see some division in the ranks? Curling???? It's like claiming Lawn Bowls is a contact sport. As for my opinions, i quite happily spout them anywhere i go, and when i arrive later this year i will not stop deriding the nation for being a sickly pack of losers. I may lose some teeth in the process but it all about standing up for what you beleive in, And by then we would have all known how badly England fared in the cup and it would be even more fun. But remember, we still manage to be great at all these sports with a population similar to that of London. I cannot the UK on it musical contribution, but i see that the Uk is also the place where the Minogue sisters ply their trade quite sucessfully. The fact that your nation supports 2 talentless people is amazing, as well as your addiction to the worst parts of our television, Neighbours and Home and Away)!!!!! :evil4:

We don't actually have an addiction to Neighbours (5.35pm)and Haway and Shite (minority TV). We also don't have a government who poured millions into sport development several years ago and who are now reaping the benefits. We would dearly love to emulate the sporting achievements of Australia in recent years, no doubt about it. But, and it is a big but, we do have other things to spend our money on, like providing free life for immigrants, wasters and those who choose not to conform.

We have other things to spend money on!!!! Infrastructure development (so more people can get to the sporting arena's), The armed forces(so we can sink more illegal immigrants, And police East Timor, And send troops to fight a war the british started!!!!![that sounds familiar]). The fact is that the government represents the people, and people want to see Australians do well at sport. Most of that funding money went to set up grass roots sports so our children don't turn into obese americans! And we will see how that money goes in about 10 years or so when the soccer funding benefits can be reaped, maybe we will be beating England at another sport. :evil4:

Dream on Bunyip Boy, any nation that names their national side the Soccer[fuckin]roos must be having a laugh. Soccer Australia is in financial ruin, fleecing the kiddies to fund a disastrous World Cup campaign.

Im still cursing myself for my excessive alchohol intake before the Wednesday Brixton gig and then having to do a linford christie to the loo's half way thru their set. (arriving back half way thru Ceremony of all songs which angered me immensely)

I'll be furious if i allow that to happen again  though leaving half way thru a concert and getting back to my favoured position at the front just aint happening is it... :nonono:

I reckon I could show up...but I'm going to limit my intake of beverages before the show...I'd like to have some clear memories of this New Order show....

I don't really do festivals...I take it they'll be selling beer and stuff inside right? In which case I may just go early, sit around on the grass in the :shine: (being optimistic now), and just get slowly wrecked throughout the day. Got the monday booked off so can get as pissed as I like...

New Order and Beer seem to go very well together..bit like New Order and football in fact

honestly, theres a bit of sun and warmth down here today, and me minds in summer mode already...

actually as I came to this thread late can I just ask Obi the current world rankings of Australia & england in the rugby? & I meant the proper stuff - xv a side (the game is structured like new orders songs with various elements to it)not that 13 man nonsense (they each take it in turns to have a go at scoring like aboy band taking it in turns to do lead vocals)
