me either. new order's genius is right in fine time and many people dont see it. Yes arrogant i know, but i think 'turn' would beat fine time and that would be a travesty.

The finalist will probably include Crystal, Temptation, Waiting For the Siren's Call, or Cerimony. Stuff they're play all the time anyway. Not my choices but those are usually the songs or type of songs that win these types of polls.

Of course the songs you list above may draw each other in the very next round! Could anyone accurately say what will definitely happen in a Ceremony vs Temptation match? Or True Faith, BLT and Perfect Kiss?

I'll put the next 8 up tomorrow night. I'm away from home at the moment and on a dial-up, and it takes ages to even look at pages on this site at the moment, let alone creating new polls.

I'll second that...this set of polls has revitalised the way I listen to NO music... Why do I like that track ... That track has'nt sounded better in years .. etc. Thanks once again for your hard work oldmonkey

Evening all.
Is the Young Offender vs Dream Attack thread going to be started soon. There are 'battles' surrounding (either side of it in the order) it that have started, yet I can't seem to find this one..
They start and finish when I feel like it! I just decided to change the order a bit, particularly as there weren't many classics in last night's 8 matches, I figured it made sense to bring the EGG poll forward a couple of nights.

Of course I could work it out myself but it's a particularly sunny day here in POA and there's an awful lot of beer in the fridge...
maybe you use a seeded system for the next round based on the percentage of yes votes. Some songs deserve a bye, and shouldnt go so early.
Who's to say what should be a seed though? We all have different favourites, if I had picked the seeds you can bet that someone else wouldn't be happy at this or that.....the way I've done it is the fairest, it is purely the luck of the draw who gets what, the same way that it is in the FA Cup. No seeds, no advantage, pure balls out of the bag stuff.
I've just loaded all the results up, and done a test draw for the next round to see it all works out(putting in a prediction for the ones not finished yet), and you won't believe three of the ties in the next round! Just like the FA Cup, this ;)
