Crystal Video — Forum Archive

I saw the 'Crystal' video on MTV last night here in the UK - it was number 7 in the rock chart. Basically, there is a group called 'The Killers' performing 'Crystal' and towards the end, the stage gets invaded with people 'mobbing' the band. I have no idea who 'The Killers' are.

On a slightly different topic, is it possible to save the video streams from this site? I'm particularly interested in the Joy Division TV performances. I've got them on video but they are of poor quality compared to the streams here.

I saw the Crystal vid on Q music channel about a week ago, its certainly interesting! Still, here in the UK, i think the song will be huge, it rocks

Check your browser's cache directory, you'll find the file there.

If I get the time I'll see if I can convert some old videos I've got - 'True Faith' on TOTP, 'True Faith' on The Roxy, 'SOTN' on The Tube, 'Fine Time' on TOTP (with Barney Bloggsed up doing a Bez!), the live Radio 1/TV link up (around 84-ish?), live at the Albert Hall etc. etc.

I'm going to dig out my old tape bootlegs too if anybody is interested in trading...

I'm having problems viewing and downloading the videos in realplayer. It just says it can't connect to the site. I'm doing this from work and I think it may be something to do with our proxy settings not using port 80 or something, I don't really know that much about it to be honest. Any help would be appreciated! cheers, Sij

If you ever can digitalize them (MPEG mostly, WMV or RM otherwise) we'd be very happy to put this online.

To be honest, I have no idea if Real Player uses port 80 or something else.. but I think it's 80 since it works at my work...

You shouldn't have any problem with it.. is it for all files or some files?
