Stuart Murdoch and Barney...ever seen 'em in a room at the same time?

Murdoch is the main vocalists for Belle and Sebastian, and I've thought ever since getting into B & S that he sounded similar to Barney in lyrical style. A while back I ran across a picture of him in Q, I swear he's a ringer for Barney (at least pre-weight gain: think Low-life era Barney). Anyone else see the resmeblence, or am I alone in this, left to ramble on about it.....

Oh well, anyone else a B&S fan(as opposed to a BS fan)? I just recently picked up the latest ep I'm Waking Up To Us, excellant little cd that it is. At any rate, just wondering.....

They are banned in the UK for not allowing people to whisper in between tracks. Shocked audiences rushed to hand back their tickets after a member of a Glasgow audience was pointed and finger-wagged at for accidentally dropping his ciggy lighter on the floor during a B&S show and making a noise.

Know what you mean about the Barney resemblance there Tabs.... Belle and Sebastien though.....they're so wimpy they make Prefab Sprout sound like Megadeth.

lyrical style? nah, i don't think so. he has a vague resemblence to barney, but not much. up close, definitely not. actually, i've never paid much attention to b and s. they're a bit too quirky and folky for my taste. their videos are bizaare and some are a bit cheesy. hell, i had to do an image search on the net to find out what murdoch looks like, cuz i honestly can't remember what they look like. At least the male members. generic looking guys.
