as the mighty french pair are to support the boys in't park wondered what people thought of them. IMHO Moon Safari was a stonkin album but 1000megahertz (orm what ever it was called) seemed to be utter pants

Very unusual choice for support. A bit too ambient for my self. Didn't they do that song about someone in a playground? Not sure if they will go down well....

i have their first cd and some of their songs on my computer, i think theyre pretty good. I like their mellow electronic type sound, it kind of has a weird quirk to it but it works. I really like kelly watch the stars.

Couldn't have put it better myself. "Premiers Symptomes" (a compilation of earlier singles and b-sides) is great too, but 10000Hz Legend got played about twice before decending to the bottom of the pile.

I saw Air live last year at Manchester Apollo and it was a bloody racket. Crowd seemed quite disinterested in the noodling that was going on, waiting on tenterhooks for something from Moon Safari to kick in. And I'm sure one of the band members was wearing an eye patch

If they stuck to playing stuff from Moon Safari at Finsbury Park, I'd be happy, but somehow I doubt it :(

I'm sure they will be better than Arthur Baker

How can you say that about Arthur Baker ?! He is still damn good for an ol' codger!

Good at what? Standing behind a turntable and playing records?! I normally go the bar when he is supporting New Order otherwise I'd get a headache for the main event. Also, "Confusion", which AB produced must be one of the worst New Order singles ever! Ah, I feel better now I've got that off me chest

Thought that on the last night at Brixton Arthur Baker did a better New Order set than the band themselves!

I have mixed feelings about Air, I enjoyed Moon Safari but their new one, 10,000mz or whatever it was called got sold two days after I bought it.That terrible Beck song with the harmonica was the clincher in getting rid of it.

Not so unusual, check out the Blue Monday cover done by Air in the cover archives on this site.

Yet another band influenced by New Order...

Am I the only one who likes 10 000 hz legend? I rather like the experimental progrock approach of it. The Beck collaborations are sublime. Overall I like it better then the softporn muzak of Moon Safari.

I've not heard the new offering but i did like Moon Safari - however you can bet that they will be playing the new album plus perhaps Sexy Boy so if you don't like the new one your buggered but hey aren't they worth enduring for what's to follow? I think i could possibly be persuaded to sit through something like the shitehouse family if someone told me NO were on after!?
