The "real" one ist available, it is a version taped on radio xfm - the quality isn´t o good - but not too bad on the other hand. So the waiting for the release date isn´t that hard anymore. If you want to download, choose the 3:46 version on AG. Keeo on rocking!

That would have been me then, Marco! Thanks Markus for finding it between al that fake rubbish on AG. Great melody, brilliant Hooky bass, great beat...it's fantastic

AND...to me as a non-dancer in discos...this one could force me to move my lazy legs and jump right in... :D

It really seems to grow on me - as usual when my expectations are that hight & I found it just OK when I first heard it. But I imagined it a bit more innovative (like Out Of Control), even the chorus is brillant and Hooky´s bass anyway.

So it´s probably great (I´ll have to buy it and listen to proper quality) , but I don´t believe it will be a very big hit (maybe top ten for one week) - but who knows?

It's flagged, so I should be able to listen to it soon.

Damn it the song quality is poor.. but I won't whine too much since finally it's there.

What can I say, I'm shocked.. it's GREAT, the only song on Get Ready that did it for me this way is Turn My Way which I was able to listen for hours without being bored.

That's simply... GOOD..

And it diserve to be released before any other track from Get Ready (well, except maybe TMW, but I won't go into that again)

I´ll post in on Morpeus and maybe on Gnucleus, so keep watching!

I would put it online, but would be shut down in a few hours if I did that :D

Let's say people disappointed by the "We're Here To Stay" from the first clip, that's only one time in the song, the other clip IS the chorus..

Well, if you can't get it from Audiogalaxy, I'm sure someone will find a place to put it...

It's now on the NME Radio playlist. Typically, I listen non-stop for a couple of hours, go for a wee toilet break and come back to catch the last 20 seconds. Tsk. Anyhow, all I can really say is that from that wee snippet it sounds good and is er, dance-friendly.

Not yet on the BBC Radio 1 playlist...

Hardly a surprise. Then again, if New Order don't have a nu-metal or garage remix then they've only got themselves to blame.

Alright, I added 2 samples on the multimedia archives from that mp3.

If you can't go on Audiogalaxy, then this should give you a good idea of the song.

Sorry I can't put it completely...

Someone with the promo, post it on audiogalaxy or somewhere. Just send it out! This song deserves to be heard in its best quality.

=)

Everytime i try and download it it's a fake :( Is there a way you can see the running time before you download the song? I now have four fake versions!

When you download it, click on the song name, and you'll have 3 choices.. select the last one to "find it yourself", and select the version that is just different from the others...

But there is supposed to be a better one now, I'm checking it out...

There is a better one out since yesterday ! This seems to be the "Full Length Vocal" version and it can be easily spotted amongst the pile of fakes : It runs 4:55 minutes and is encoded in 192 kbps, about 7 megs in size. To my ear it sounds pretty much like a proper CD rip ! Musically i like the Radio Edit better, this one is filled with a rather lengthy instrumental break before the "we´re here to stay" part and it lacks the repeat chorus at the end. But that´s just imho...

Yeah, that sounds like the full length version of the song. Great Track and to me it seems that they used some synthesizer-sounds from the "Round & Round" (remix)sessions on that one.

Thank you so much to the Audiogalaxy poster - this song is amazing! It does have a bit of a Technique feel to it, but it sounds bang up to date, no retro stylings at all. An instant classic! Thanks for the tip-off! Md

ErnieDingo my old sparring partner I'll have to disagree with you here.

I've downloaded the 4.55 version and I'm finding that there's several distinctive old skool NO elements to it.. That's not to say that I don't like it. There's definitely some re-appropriated Round & Round sequences, Fine Time breaks, a dash of True Faith and bugger me blue if that isn't a sort of percussive rip from Out of Control right near the end. That sort of warped 'tapping' effect.. Not to mention a hint of a Blue Monday backing vocal underpinning some sections..

Was there some spare spools of stuff left over from the Technique sessions? Or is this the Chems doing a bit of a homage to our heroes.

Anyone else hearing this stuff or do I need a stronger filter on my crack pipe?

Each to their own, depthy. Everything the Chems have done has that tapping noise you mentioned. Yes, there are bits of it that sound familiar (that part everyone thinks sounds like 'Round & round' sounds more like the start of 'Tasty Fish' to me), but I meant to say that 3 45+ year old men making a concerted effort at making 'dance' music could have sounded a hell of a lot more cheesy and retro than this. GR never really had a crack at their dancier sound, but thankfully this new single shows they can still cut a rug as well as rock out. Bravo, I say! Md

I once cut a rug, in a charming little village SE of Istanbul in 1986. At the time, I presided over a harem of rare Arabian beauty, dined on the finest goat kebabs and smoked opium that would blow your mind.
