Ewww...emo. I fooking hate emo. Sorry to be so vulgar but if i see one more emo video on the telly i don't know what i'm gonna do. What is the appeal of some freaky guy that looks like a girl wearing makeup and dressing in girl's clothes and other weird stuff...

I cant come to grips what emo is either. It's those whiny, horrible corporate-punk bands who pretend to be so angst-ridden to appeal to little kids, it's so obviously insincere and fake.

But I've heard other bands like Modest Mouse, Sebadoh and YES! even JD/NO called 'emo' so I just dont know anymore...

I think 'emo' was just a general term for 'alternative' for the present and then record companies ran with it and started assembling their little whiny bitch bands like Good Charolette - "Cause I'm just a kid/ And life is a nightmare/ waaaahh!!"
