Hear To Stay video on MTV

Yes. John Simms actually mimes Barney's vocal and looks pretty convincing...the custom white shirt, restrictive jet black tie, dark flannels, you know, his classic Joy Division look. I admit to paying more attention to the song as it was the first time I'd heard the full length take.

Classic Joy Division look? He's got a dodgy 'tache too?

yep...but we can always hope, right
well, as for States play...there's always the US version of MTV2. which sometimes does random stuff. like awhile ago, they showed some acoustic version of NO doing "Temptation," which my co-conspirator saw (i wasn't home at the time...alas...
). was NO ever on Unplugged in the UK? cos we nearly never get to see those Unplugged eps over here...all i can remember being done for the UK and shown here was one with the Cure from 1991 or so.
and also, don't discount small local underground-type video shows that might be in your area. i've seen lots of stuff that i never thought i'd see here (and might not even have known there *were* videos for) on shows like those. if there's a show like that in your area, and they've got contact information, strike up a friendly chat and see if you can get them to keep an eye out for this video and play it if they get their hands on it!
it can happen. occasionally. :)

What does Gillian do when NO play unplugged? Does she errect massive solar panels above the stage to channel the light energy into her keyboards?
she get's one of those little kiddy pianos, and tinkers about on that keyboard, dinking out some of the craziest tunes you've ever heard...

Ah for the days when 120 Minutes on MTV would show some decent videos(sigh) I'm betting that they show it about twice, with both times being about 3:30 in the morning.
Saw the video on MTV Dance last night. Nice, liked the out takes, Simm mimes Barney pretty well. First time I'v eheard the song properly as well...I like a lot. Nice little dedication to Ian Curtis, MArtin Hannett and Rob Gretton at the end as well
