I think Pottsy is an excellent candidate to replace Gillian. He played with Hooky and they have great chemisty together.

I've noticed you lot are being a bit harsh on Phil. What's that all about? Gillian has left, just like Curtis is not coming back from the dead ffs! Get over it once and for all.
Just love the band the way it is or simply fuck off, plenty of other bands out there.

Totally agree. Phil enables New Order to continue and is a valuable member. Just because he doesnt have the same history as the rest of the band he shouldnt be singled out for abuse.
When Gillian left and Phil joined the band they should have changed their name, wrote an entirely brand new set and refused to play anything they wrote as New Order for at least five years... :D :D
nah, i should have replaced her. i can play just as much as she could when she joined the band.
Phil's been in the band for five years, right? And it seems like he receives a lot less abuse from Bernard than Gillain did. He fits just fine.
Someone here said they were sick of Phil's 'guitar wankery'. What for? Because he added a couple of leads here and there? He certainly isn't trying to be Brian May for chrissakes. My only discontent lies with the over-reliance on backing tapes for the synth lines that used to be live.
Gillian can still return and Phil can stay. Thuis real keyboards plus guitar and Barney is freed up.
