Alistair MacGowans truly awful detective series Mayo, last week featured A group of old folk doing aerobics while someone bashed out Blue Monday on a grand piano. Sounded quite good.

My geography teacher told me he was "rocking out" to WFTSC on radio 2 the other day.

I dunno how u would rock out to that track, i think he just wanted to sound cool. Loves new order though

Probably not in this area of the States. BLT is pretty much the only song the DJs seem to play here in the clubs and on the radio... Sometimes I think the DJs think NO is a one-hit band... :nono:

Yes, it's tough being a NO fan in the States! BLT and Regret are the only songs I can think of that ever get any play, other than Crystal being on some car commercial.

I was walking down to get the papers this morning, when I heard Regret, appaently floating out of someone's window, chuffed, I wandered back home, only to discover it was my new phone which now has Regret as the ringtone... :blush:

Not strictly related to the thread but when Radio 2 moved into new accommodation, the DJs newsreaders etc found that all the clocks had been placed on walls BEHIND them! "And the time now is..er, hang on, um...."

OK, last weekend i was watching the GAA & Hurling on TG4 here in Ireland. (GAA is a football game, & TG4 is an irish language station - pronounced "T G ca-her"). I realised that the exit/intro music at each set of adverts sounded very familiar - either an instrumental section from RockTheShack, or some cheep imatation from U2!. Texted around a couple of other NOOLers in Dubland & MYOB was able to put me out of my misery - its RockTheShack! On TG4! All afternoon - the program lasts around 4 hours! (like a Grandstand for Irish sports, but with adverts)

Last time I heard NO on the radio was New Year's Eve - BLT. Don't listen to the radio much - most of it's crap.

Heard a bit of Crystal as a lead in to a commercial on the Commonwealth Games.

VH2 loves New Order and Joy Division it seems, they play them all the time. Therefore I watch it all the time.
