Ever ejected someone from your Gaff for slaggin the Order?

My sister in-law just said "Michael you don't arf listen to some crap..."She was only slagging Temptation....I think I'm well within my rights in bundling the cheeky mare out the door,ar'nt I?

I ate my siser's n**l d**m*nd cd one night (well, bit it in half) cos she'd let her luddite BF destroy the one of all her fave Order songs. Everyone in the house wanted me out or dead or tarred and feathered for such an outrage, except my sis who rolled on the floor in stitches for about an hour (safe in the absolute certainty that I'd buy her another)

Closest me and the missus have come to parting ways was NO-related... She (in many cases rightly) despairs of some of the random stuff I listen to, but following a rather random selection of stuff in the car one day, she finally snapped and told me to 'turn that shit off' during of all things Ceremony... She has leanred the error of her ways and can now identify and say encouraging things about most NO tracks... Birds...

Eh, I get into it with a few people a time and again. NO's been one of those bands that my family likes fair renough because they've all got a song or ten they enjoy. It's friends and their acquaintances that get into trouble. A few years back, I was at a friend's place and we were taking turns putting on tracks to create a party atmosphere. I had a nice mix of random stuff, plus the everfaithful Order.

One minx looked up drunkenly, spouted off about how NO was such a JD ripoff and was appearing to want to "school" me in the ways of their (JD) greatness and the final blow was her saying " New Order is a bunch of old men who needed to die in shame."

I quietly chuckled and just told the little girl to come back into the house when she'd learned something about the band.

If it's not someone calling them crap in so many words and the same breath lauding JD for their accomplishments and the arguer not even having a clue that one is basically the other minus a lead singer, it's someone insulting one of the obviously superior songs (Stuff like Temptation.. how can anyone truly have a beef with Temptation? Is it really even possible?)... I mean, I'm just asking for people to have a little Earth logic, here.
