I mention it because several users have posted stuff like "Thanks so much for the add, Bernard, you are one of the most underrated vocalists!"

I guess it's someone's own fault if they believe it's really Bernard, but still, I feel like the pages shouldn't be there in the first place (at least for the individual band members).

I have two MySpace sites, one for music, the other just casual. A friend of mine referred to me about it. I don't understand what's the hype behind it. :shrug:

If you only knew the amount of people contact me for booking gigs and stuff... I'm not surprised some people think those are legit :lol:

I don't understand the hype either.. probably because it's free... I should do a light version of the NOOL software and do it free like that, it would pay itself with ads that's for sure :p

Yeah, something tells me Ian isn't coming back from the dead just to answer emails from some spotty teenager on MySpace :nonono:

That being said, some bands do have legit MySpace sites (like Belle and Sebastian). But the bogus sites for celebs are pretty obvious: about a month ago sites for all the Monty Python members popped up. But I was suspicious, and my suspicions were proven when a message appeared on each site specifically stating that these weren't sites from the actual members, but had been created by someone else :banghead:
