... And you thought Hooky Monster's plea was bad... Just got back from a weekend away.... shit, what a cock-up... all sold out!!!... I think I'm going to be sick.

Anybody anywhere know where to get hold of any Manc. gig tickets? - Last hope for me is with the tour operators.

You know what, this fucking world's sick.

Is the third date for London sold out as well already?

In any case, you can be sure that a few wise arses will be selling tons of tickets on EBay and demanding the world for it.

Men will be men.

Sebsy, as the boss of this town I was hoping for a little more encouragement. Nevertheless, I have now sniffed out a couple of dates with tickets (it didn't take me long). Fucking Friday night at Manc. land's all sold out though, bastards. Best gig gone. Most venues still available.

You are living in UK or North America or Europe. So you can see New Order show somewhere in your country.

Unfortunately, I live in Korea. They have never visted here and definitely-maybe, New Order will NEVER come my country.

How great! Oh my god...I can't see them in my whole life.. Do you know my country Korea? Barney said at one Korean magazine interview there's some big factories of Korean company in Manchester.

Bareny said some funny things at that Korean magazine interview. Especially about his glasses and family.

He said he can't even read the setlist putted on the floor without his glasses :) But he really wears glasses? He is long-sighted? He is old to be a presbyope? He said it was just a JOKE but It's probably not just a joke.... :)

Anyway, I'm really sad about the fact I can't see New Order coz they will not come my country, never.

Heather, I'm curious, are there many New Order dans in South Korea? If New Order would come and do a gig in your country, do you think they could sell enough tickets to pay for the trip and even make profits?

Are there any other well-known bands who are performing in Korea?

In Korea, Rock & pop is 'mania' thing. Generally, korean people like national domestic pop or dance music. I don't mind about it. Why should I care people's taste? It's not my business.
Most of korean people don't know New Order. There's a bad case about how New Order is unrecognized in Korea. Early in this year, a dancing boy group (like Five or N sync) named 'New Order' newly came. Hell.... :headoff:

I have 4 friends who really love New Order. But even among people called music manias, New Order is not popular. So, there are not many New order fans in Korea.

In 1997, Blur had a gig at Seoul. It was not sold out. Under 1500 poeple saw the gig. Seoul gig is first and ONLY not-sold-out of Blur's world tour.
There's a bad joke that the Why U2 would not perform in Korea is they don't want to have a not-sold-out case in their career.

The smashing pumpkins and Rage against the mashine performed at Seoul last year. But I think they could not make enough profit. Bernard Bulter and Mark Kozelek had a gig at a small club. I think the most well-known musicians who performed in Korea is John Digweed and The Smashing Pumpkins. In case of Digweed, a big mobil communication company supported the rave party as a marketting event.

I can't sure that tickets would sell well if New Order come here. But I think they would not be able to make enough money. Surely, no profit.

TICKETS PURCHASED FOR MANC. LAND!!!!!!!!

Fucking great. Ticketmaster proved a very powerful source - cheers for tips kids.

I wanted standing i.e. in front of the stage - clicked 'Standing' and my order came back with unreserved standing. Any idea where this is the two Andy's??? - I'd seen a choice for stalls standing - what the fuck was all that about?

Great.

So, you've got your reason why. And this explains why so many bands from Europe and North America won't go in Asia and South America: for ECONOMICAL reasons. Not only is it expensive to travel there, but the economy of most of the countries is not strong enough (yet).

One day my friend, one day...
