I had never heard of this item from 2005 until I saw a pair of them at a Best Buy here in Waco (!). Can't really tell if it's worth picking up, but online, they seem to be priced higher than they are where I found them ($16.99).

I'm sure someone here has this. Any opinions?

(from Amazon) "UK only Official Live disc is interspersed with rare interviews of all the band members. The live songs were recorded in various European locations including rarities from Dutch and Belgian concert performances along with a couple of rare alternative studio outtakes. 26 tracks in all including performances of, 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', 'Leaders Of Men', 'Failures', 'Novelty', 'New Dawn Fades', 'Ice Age', 'Shadowplay', 'Passover', 'Transmission', 'At A Later Date', 'Digital', 'Colony', 'Auto Suggestion' and 'Dead Souls'. The rare audio interviews include all members of Joy Division, some of which have never seen the light of day before plus spoken word contribution on one number from Martin Hannett. This is an official release and 25th anniversary of Ian Curtis's death and the soon to be released movie based on his life. The eight page fold out full colour cd booklet contains lots of Joy Division images and a detailed biographical article on the band. Interstate Records. 2005."

Well, some of the tracks sound rushed (they're alternate versions). I have it, but don't listen to it so much. If you're a collector for JD memorabilia, go ahead and get it.

What the fuck is that reply about? I don't know what your definition of "real" is, but it does exist.

If you're going to be ignorant, try not to be a twat at the same time.

I bought this and its ok but on some of the interviews you can barely make anything out. Also if you already own Les Bains Douches and the Warsaw bootleg (The Drawback, At A Later Date...etc.), as i do then your not really left with much 'new' to hear

I think they were the RCA demos, thats what i meant when mentioning the Warsaw bootleg

No it isn't my friend, however, if you don't have the albums that have been mentioned above then it could be a good way of getting to know the different sides of JD (they sound great live). The problem with bootlegs is that you never know what you are going to get. One person mentioned he had it, so take his advice about spending your hard earned cash. Cheers Mate!!

This is a completely shit and really badly done bootleg, featuring inferior sound quality versions of other bootlegs (and I think some tracks on Heart And Soul and Les Bains Douches). Don't touch it with a bargepole!
