NOT Age of Consent
A lot of footage I've seen from the Movement songs has Hooky on the 6 string, even though he doesn't need it.
From what I can tell:
Chosen Time Doubts Even Here (probably a few more on Movement) Subculture State of the Nation 1963 (really high bit near the end) As It Is When It Was (again, not sure why he needs the 6-string) Let's Go Elegia Fine Time Every Little Counts Paradise Too Late We All Stand Your Silent Face Heart And Soul Dreams Never End Blue Monday
Cheers. Any idea on the riff for AoC? Didn't Re: Order or Digital play it with a 6 stringer?

Probably because it was convenient at the time. No wasting time swapping instruments. ;)
The riff for AoC is a piece of piss. I'm email it to you.

Nah, they're on the four string.
I missed out Shellshock. And This Time of Night. Possibly In A Lonely Place as well.

Once again, cheers. I thought IALP was on a 4 string. There was a video on this site but I can't remember it.
Is this the video?

I can just make out the 6 string
Real Media is the devil. I don't have it on this laptop. Curse you, Spotnick and your love for Real Media.
Heart And Soul Passover (we think - photo evidence in An Ideal For Living shows Hooky playing a bass chord at ULU, can only have been in Passover) A Means To An End - possibly
In A Lonely Place
Chosen Time Doubts Even Here Denial Dreams Never End
Procession
We All Stand Your Silent Face Too Late Blue Monday
Elegia This Time Of Night Subculture Let's Go
As It Is When It Was Every Little Counts Paradise State of the Nation Shellshock
1963
Fine Time
Nothing else was 6 string that I can think of.
World was a 5 string MusicMan Stringray
Digital always play everything with a 5 string, as the bass player has a thing about a low B. ![]()
you can add:
Cries And Whispers Hurt
...to that list.
No-one can be sure about 'Too Late' since it's really easy to play on a 4 string and they've never played it live.
I felt Too Late had the sound of the six string, it's purely speculation but I have a feeling
Hurt on the six string? Might have to check my Barcelona 84 footage but I'm not sure.
Cheers, never heard Too Late, what is it from? Wasim, hopefully I'll see you at a Digital/Re: Order gig sometime. :D Is it possible to bring some more bootlegs to the gig? I'm sure the cd you sent will last a long time.
How long are you going to be at that University address?
Not sure when I'll next be over in the UK to be honest, I might have to take a quarter off in autumn.
I move out of campus 1st July, I think. Got a contract with a house on that date, so should be living there then.

Could it have been The Eternal?
