Hello Hooky

Doesn't Hooky have an informal fued with Simon Gallup, the Cure's bass player? From the style he plays to the way he holds his bass low, that kind of stuff...
I remember reading the Cure's biography and how they were accused of ripping off Blue Monday when they released the Walk. (However, Simon was not in the Cure at the time). Honestly, I don't believe the Cure new the difference between Monday and Blue (unless it meant burnt Heroin) back in those days.
So in answer to your question, wouldn't Hooky think anything put out by the Cure was a rip-off?

The bassline near the beginning of Obstacle 1 by Interpol, even if it is a cracking song by a great band.

I'll start:
The Go! Team Panther Dash
Ha ha ha! My mate Paul wrote the bassline for Panther dash and he has no history of being a NO/JD fan as far as I know, I'll ask him tommorrow!

Gotta say the whole mix is very New Orderish! And nectar as as hell!..I'm still not convinced Hooky did'nt actually contribute a bassline to this mix???
Edit:Its the Thin White Duke mix,I'm referring to.I have a feeling they are one and the same. Are they? Nearly 9 mins long and brilliant,if that helps any!
