maybe another vacation is in order for autumn...
It would be rude not to
if i can:
a) find enough change under my sofa and underneath my car seat to pay for it, and
b) get some time off,
then perhaps london and wolverhampton.
Then we might meet again ;)
Unless they add more dates before London, I really want to squeeze London in my vacation ;)
Tim/Al..
Did you go to the last gig @ the Civic Hall back on that freezing night in Feb 86.
Its a top venue...might sneak out of retirement for this one.
Blackpool is really tempting as well...but October !!
Have New order played Blackpool before ??
What's with the big gaps betweeen gigs? I understand a few second dates might be added, but this seems so spread out it doesn't make economic sense, and thinking back to a conversation I had with a well known lambchopped face after Ally Pally I thought economics were high on the band's agenda these days?
Can anyone with more business savvy than me explain? Or are they just knobheads?

Blackpool Scamps!
Is there anyone here getting married this year?! Could make a weekender of it in Blackpool and thrown in a stag do to boot!
Think we're just a teeny bit late for Andrew Sayer no? Unless he postpones his wedding? ![]()

Yep, last time they played Hurt.
Twice at least before in Blackpool. Scamps in 1980 and also in 1982, can't remember the 82 venue name.
JD played the Imperial Hotel there in 79 as well.

Blackpool - bit more complex, although *could* combine that into a work scenario - i.e. travel back to Telford in the morning!
Blackpool has an International Airport and is expanding it's routes significantly in the coming months. It's approximately 50 miles from Liverpool and depending on whether or not you get a direct train, it's between 1hr 31mins and 2hrs 29mins by rail.
Gotta try and get tickets for wolves, gigs keep cropping up that I wanna go to, crippling me financially, but its new order, maybe I can get my mate whos also a huge fan to buy me my ticket for my birthday as its in october!
Wembley Arena sucks, but I will be there. Wolves Civic must be in the top 5 venues in the land ![]()

not been to wolves yet, but aye, wembley is shite.
can anyone tell us where the tickets will be on sale from?
i just did a quick scout and 1: the wembley site has no mention of this at all, and comes up blank on a search and 2: none of the ticket sites i checked (see, wayahead, ticketmaster etc) had london listed, only the blackpool and wolves dates. which isn't entirely helpful...
although i would hope that i'd be going to wolves as well, because i too hate wembley, but it does have the advantage of being nearer home....
as ever and forever wrote: unfathomably good news ;)
new material????
It would be awesome if we could hear some new stuff. ![]()

They did Manchester in October 2005 and January 2006... give them a break!

And their biggest date by far is in London?!
About time people woke up to where New Order's true power-base lies!
Ladies and Gentlemen, bow down to the London Order.

Uncle Liam wrote: In fairness, its not like they'd sell out the Ulster Hall. And they surely wouldnt reduce themselves to playing the Limelight now would they?
Mandela hall would be the perfect venue, better bar facilities than the Ulster. Not that it matters anyway as it isn't going to happen :(
Bloody ell!
Maya wants to go to the Wembley arena gig.Hope they can sell it out.Brixton last year the tickets sold a bit slow.
i'd love to do Blackpool. That would be superb![]()
Deffo Woverhampton also for me.That's the closest they've played to me since NEC 89.
Johnny
Yup, it's deffo Wembley for me
- Maya

Will I be buying your spare tickets again this year? Its so much easier than buying them now. Helps with the cashflow too!
