I'm refreshing this on the hour! Defintely Wolves but by the sound of it, it's going to be the first to sell out. Anyone fancy a Big Top Arena ticket? Don't fancy a sit-down gig now!

A gig in Shrewsbury would be good. Was in the Armoury down by the river last week: that Salopian Babylon beer is fantastic. Too many rugger buggers in their for my liking, but nice place.

But, I digress: will definitely be at Wolves, the rest will depend on finances/work and how quickly the fuckers sell out.

I agree, too many posh farmers and rugger buggers poncing about in The Armoury. You should try the Buttermarket Cellar for gigs. An ex-Factory Records worker and Shrewsbury resident has just set up his own record label and is releasing classic indie albums from the Nightingales, Prefects etc. He's booked the Nightingales to play the Cellar next week:

the one thing that really FECKING pisses me off with the tour promoters is this! WAKE UP YOU STUPID BASTIDS....the only people who can phone up for tickets, at 9 bloody am in the morning are fans who throw a sickie or Ebay money grabbing scum(im being nice about them as a fact...cos i really wanna say worse!) . i have missed out on three bands i wanted to see and within minutes the tickets were on sale on ebay at groosly inflated prices. Is it not possible for the members of this web site to get priority tickets?(2 each at the most)..cos it looks as if im gonna miss the only chance to watch my all time favourite band(dont think there gonna be playing live much longer)..as i have to work to earn money to feed my kids......boy im really pissed....sorry(spotnik Heeeelp please!):banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Five gigs eh? Does anyone else think they're gradually cutting down on their live work as a sort of 'long goodbye'? None of them are getting any younger and Hooky has said that Barney has to be persuaded to play live these days.

I can see a time inside the next five years when they'll call it a day, either live-wise or maybe totally. Twenty-six years as one band - more or less - and nearly thirty overall is a bloody long time.

Am I going to Wembley? I saw them there in 87 (top night) but it's a bit steep now so maybe not.

I can see Bernard retreating into the studio for good like he did in Electronic. I think he wants to make music, release it, and do the things he likes doing in his spare time, rather than go gigging.

Steve will probably go back to writing soundtracks with Gillian, spending time with his children/tank.

Hooky will always be out and about doing something, somewhere. He lives for gigging I think. :evil4:

Too hot!

I witnessed people collapsing in there due to the heat during a Morrissey gig a few years back.

Cracking atmosphere though, and a nice pub right next door!

Brilliant mate!!!!

I can only afford one ticket for the upcoming gigs, Uncle John & Lorraine have just sorted me with Wolves Civic

With Wembley I should still be able to get a ticket nearer the time.

BEGGING LETTER TO ALL.....If anyone gets hold of any spare tickets for Glasgow, Newcastle & Blackpool. PLEASE keep me one. PLEASE!!!!Any generosity will be rewarded in cash, DVD's and beer once I get back from Madrid / Barca
