True Faith Tall Paul remixes

I've heard the mix on cream live cd. Is it available anywhere else ??

The white label pressings were done without the band's knowledge I believe. They were really only done so Pete Tong could send them to a few select DJs.

I know of only 1 that has been sold on.

They are also complete bollocks, as you would expect from an artist as shite as Tall Paul!

One did appear recently (last week - which I didn't end up bidding for), but with different mix names to that listed on the New Order discographies...

Went for about 45 quid, if memory serves me correctly?

Aye,it was ham shank anyways. I hate these DJ remixes anyway,they are just plain lazy and are always dance orientated. The original is by far the best anyhow.

If its only 15 copies,then surely that`d be an acetate anyway? If you get vinyl pressed its normally a minimum of 500-anyone can have it done,it costa about 300 quid.

You can always get a box of test pressings done then take the run no further. It's costly of course but London could afford it.

I always figured London reserved the cat number NUXXDJ5 for the Tall Paul TF remixes but they turned out to be a crock so the idea was scrapped. Made sense, there being an NUXXDJ4, NUXXDJ6, etc. Perhaps London later thought they could still get some value out of the TP remixes by pressing them as B-sides and promos for the 1963 single but then thought better of it and pressed the 1963 Lionrock remixes on NUXXDJ6 instead.

Has anyone here ever actually laid eyes on an NUXXDJ6 with the Eschreamer mixes?

Think the 15 copies pressed were only white labels, don't know that there were actually any with NUXXDJ6 printed on them.

but i knew someone that had it once, and recorded them for me.

they're not that great.

i think the novelty and rarity are more of an issue, unless you're a completist..

'NUXXDJ6' could've been etched onto the record itself which is not uncommon, even if the whitelabel sticker didn't have any information on it.

The source of the NUXXDJ6 theory was Antoine's 1963 promo sheet, rather than someone actually owning an Eschreamer copy that contained the cat number NUXXDJ6. So perhaps this needs to be amended in the next discography update.

Speaking of which, haven't seen Mr Ivarsson in these parts for a long while. Perhaps he's dreading the next update, with the backlog of CD-R promos and the like to work through.

Maybe it's a project to look at in the next 2-3 months. Doesn't seem like there's much happening on the release horizon. Could be a good time to collate the myriad of Sirens-era stuff.

Hate to see the Ivarsson Discog fade into obscurity. I still log in at least a couple of times a week!

Yes, besides the white label 12", it is also available on a "in-house" CDR pack from Reprise. See the Album section in the New Order Discography @ http://www.niagara.edu/neworder.

I have the CDR called "Blue Monday 1995" with the Eschreamer mixes. You can hear one of them in a New Order megamix I made a while back called re:transmission. It should be available somewhere...

Very true, however I know of at least three people (I.e. Nick King, yourself and myself) who would be more than willing to help him out on that front. I keep a mini-discography on my PC of what I've got from the WFTSC period plus cover scans so it's easy enough to adapt what we've all got.

As you pointed out the Niagara Discography as it stands does need minor ammendments here and there. It's a great reference site and I would hate to see it fade into offline obscurity as Ceremony/slashmc.rice.edu did.

Hi Ally. Yeah, I'd hate the site vanish into the void as well... Problem is that I've been quite busy with other priorities in life. However, I have not given up (logged in 1st time today...)

I have a substantial (pun intended) update in the works on my computer - mainly stuff prior to WFTSC. I will be looking into the later releases as well. I would appreciate the help. If the weather sucks in Sweden this summer, I would get some things done :)

Ally this is no word of a lie,i have seen NUXXDJ6 on a site somewhere. Will look after work and post my findings
